Care

Wash them by hand with warm water and mild soap, and dry them well before putting them away. No dishwasher and no soaking: olive wood is dense and a sudden change in moisture cracks it.

Every two or three months, a thin coat of food-grade mineral oil. It brings the colour back to the wood and stops it drying out at the tip, which is where it always starts.

Every piece is different

Olive wood isn't manufactured, it's cut. Each utensil comes from a different trunk, so the grain, the knots and the tone change from one to another within the same set.

The set you receive won't be exactly the one in the photo. That isn't a fault: it's what makes sure there isn't another one like it.

Why these utensils

What makes them different

They don't scratch non-stick
1 / 4

They don't scratch non-stick

Olive wood is hard, but it doesn't attack the surface of the pan. You can stir, scrape the bottom and lift out the omelette without worrying about ruining the coating.

Every piece, different

Every piece, different

Olive has the most pronounced grain of all our woods, and every trunk draws it its own way. Within the same set there are no two utensils alike.

Sorprendida!!

Frequently asked questions

Are they dishwasher safe?

No. Solid wood swells and cracks with heat and pressurised water. Wash them by hand with warm water and mild soap, and dry them well before putting them away.

Are they suitable for non-stick pans?

That's exactly what they're for. Wood doesn't scratch the coating, unlike metal, and it stands up to the heat of the pan without warping or giving anything off.

Why aren't they all the same?

Because each piece comes from a different trunk. The grain, the knots and the tone change from one utensil to another, even within the same set. It's real olive wood, not a manufactured panel.

How often should I oil them?

Every two or three months with normal use, or whenever the wood looks dull and feels rough. Food-grade mineral oil, a thin coat, let it sit a few hours and wipe off the excess.

What if I don't like it?

You have 60 days to send it back, free and without explaining yourself. Message us on WhatsApp from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and we handle it ourselves.
