Care

Wash it by hand with warm water and mild soap, and dry it standing up. Do not put it in the dishwasher and do not leave it to soak. Every two or three months, a thin coat of mineral oil extends the life of the wood and brings the colour back.

Why this board

What makes it different

It looks after your knife edges
1 / 5

It looks after your knife edges

With end grain the knife goes in between the fibres and the wood closes again. The edge lasts far longer and the board barely marks.

From the kitchen to the barbecue
2 / 5

From the kitchen to the barbecue

It takes the daily chopping and then goes straight to the table or the garden without looking out of place. The gift that lands with someone who really cooks.

Built to last years
3 / 5

Built to last years

Hand-sanded and treated with certified food-grade mineral oil. A thin coat every two or three months and it lasts you decades.

Two faces, two jobs
4 / 5

Two faces, two jobs

One side with a juice groove, for meat and anything that runs. The other flat, for serving bread, cheese and charcuterie straight on the table.

Plantation teak, not felled forest
5 / 5

Plantation teak, not felled forest

It comes from Brazilian plantations with FSC certification: every tree cut is replanted. Solid wood, no microplastics, no BPA and no phthalates, tested by SGS.

Perfecto

Frequently asked questions

Can it go in the dishwasher?

No. Solid wood swells and cracks with heat and pressurised water. Wash it by hand with warm water and mild soap, and dry it standing up so it drains from both sides.

How often does it need oiling?

Every two or three months with normal use, or whenever the wood looks dull and feels rough. Food-grade mineral oil, a thin coat, leave it a few hours and wipe off the excess.

What is the difference between end grain and edge grain?

With end grain the knife goes in between the fibres and the wood closes again: it keeps the edge better and the board marks less. These are thicker and heavier, made for chopping every day. Edge grain boards are thinner and lighter, ideal for serving.

How much is shipping?

Nothing. Shipping is free to 12 European countries and there is no minimum order.

And if it does not convince me?

You have 60 days to send it back, free and without explaining yourself. Message us on WhatsApp from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and we handle it ourselves.
