The three positions
Over the sink. This is the star position: the telescopic arms rest on both edges of the sink bowl and the water drips straight in. It does not take up a single centimetre of worktop.
Inside the sink. For washing a batch and leaving it to drain out of sight.
On the worktop. Here the water does not drip into the sink, and that is what the drying mat is for: you put it underneath, it collects what drips and you empty it when you are done.
The arms go from 38 to 50 cm, so they fit most single-bowl sinks.
Care
Dry it now and then, especially the arms and the joints. Standing water is what leaves a limescale ring.
Wash the drying mat separately with soap and water. If limescale appears, use a cloth with warm white vinegar and rinse. No metal scourers on the black coating.
